Cool fingers wrap around my wrist
Not in a loving embrace
But in a harsh block of my attack,
Icy fingers that leave burning imprints
In my skin.
Sky blue,
No,
Sea blue
Eyes glare,
As if piercing through my body,
Through my core,
Through my soul,
Through my everything,
Until they reach my Nothing,
Until they reach the place where I keep myself
Locked away.
The wet, sapphire eyes unlatch that cage
And free me
From myself,
Only to beat me black and blue,
Blue as those eyes,
Those eyes that hate me.
Those eyes I love.
